Responsibilities

As our Echo Tech you will operate ultrasound equipment and perform a variety of technical diagnostic procedures which encompass the
specialty area of Echocardiography.聽聽To be successful in this role, you must have a solid knowledge of imaging equipment and proper patient positioning to produce and analyze quality images.

You鈥檒l continuously strive to deliver a positive experience to our patients.聽

  • Performs ultrasound diagnostic imaging on patients according to the specific departmental procedure protocols
  • Prepares equipment ensuring that equipment is operational, safe and functioning Actively Participates with patient testing, performing routine, non鈥恟outine, urgent, and emergent patient requests
  • Performs portable examinations at the bedside to ensure patient safety as well as provide immediate diagnostic
    testing when needed

Qualifications

Required:

*Associate鈥檚 Degree OR one year certificate from a health
related program in a related medical field, which include
seminar course training in cardiac ultrasound preferred

*Registered by American Diagnostic Registry for Medical
Sonographers (ARDMS) as RDCS OR RVT or Registered by
Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) as RVS or RCS

*Two (2) years related experience
