Dignity Health Mercy San Juan Medical Center is a 384-bed not-for-profit Level 2 Trauma Center located in Carmichael California. We have served north Sacramento County as well as south Placer County for over 50 years. Our facility is one of the area's largest medical centers and also one of the most comprehensive. Responsibilities

The incumbent accurately and efficiently processes all lab specimens with appropriate use of the hospital and laboratory information systems.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Lab Assistant/phlebotomist in an acute care hospital. 1 year experience preferred.聽
  • Demonstrated knowledge of laboratory terminology aseptic technique laboratory tests and specimen handling and blood collection techniques as demonstrated by CAP required competency assessment and organizational requirements.聽
  • California CPT-1 or CPT-2 or certification or other California state certification permitting phlebotomy.
