Responsibilities

Are you a natural leader with a passion for security and a commitment to teamwork? Virginia Mason Franciscan Health (VMFH) is seeking a Security Lead to join our dedicated team!

This isn't just a security job; it's a leadership opportunity. As a Security Lead, you'll combine your hands-on security experience with your leadership skills to mentor and guide your team. You'll be a key player in ensuring a safe and secure environment for our patients, staff, and visitors.

What you'll do:

  • Mentor and train new security officers, sharing your expertise and ensuring consistent high-quality performance.
  • Provide input on employee performance evaluations and contribute to team development.
  • Assist in scheduling, workflow management, and maintaining supply levels.
  • Help implement new procedures and train staff on new systems and technologies.
  • Support your team in resolving complex issues and escalating concerns as needed.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.

One year of experience in a security role is required. We're looking for individuals who are not only skilled security professionals but also possess strong leadership qualities, a collaborative spirit, and a commitment to excellence. A valid Washington State driver's license and a clean driving record are essential.
